WASTELAND is the Columbia, Maryland native Brent Faiyaz’s sophomore studio album following his February 2020 extended play, Fuck The World. Brent first announced the album on June 13, 2022, when he shared the album trailer with the official Instagram page for the album, adding a mysterious caption: …& so it begins On June 17, 2022, Brent shared the official cover art and track list while also crediting the executive producer, Jonathan Wells.
