Norrskensflamman – roughly “the northern lights flame” was a communist newspaper of Luleå that in 1940 suffered a sinister and cowardly attack. Their only crime was fostering a dream of a better world. A fairer world built on camaraderie, equality and peace. Only to see it go up in flames. Using an explosive charge fitted to the printing press, a violent fire broke out leaving five people dead. Among them two children. Devoured by the flames in a wicked blaze of a bizarre aurora borealis. In the subsequent investigation a conspiracy emerged, consisting of soldiers, officers and a journalist colleague,
