SGT-HI-C is Hi-C’s seventh mixtape, named after the manga series Sgt. Frog. On March 16, 2024, Hi-C previewed “ChR0m3 H34rTs Wh1T3 T33”, “H3lL C4T D0dG3”, and “AlL d4 WaY TuRnT uP” on Instagram Live and said that he engineered the songs himself. On June 26, 2024, Hi-C previewed “K1lLz0n3”, “D3v1L MaN”, and “CuRs3 M4rK (S4suK3)” on Instagram Live. His manager Nick Blanco announced on Twitter on the same day that the project would have a single. On July 5, 2024, Hi-C confirmed via Nick Blanco’s Twitter that the mixtape would have 12 tracks, although the final tracklist only consists of
