Arman Méliès

Arman Méliès,born Jean-Louis Fiévé on January 28, 1972 in Paris1, is a french singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist musician. Coming from the group eNola,in which he composed under the pseudonym Jan Fiévé,he took his independence in 2003 to create a singular music. He chose his pseudonym in reference to the painter Arman and the filmmaker Georges Méliès. Biography Arman Méliès made his debut in the Hardcore band Pro Rata Temporis formed in 19922 before co-founding eNola, guitar and vocals3. Composed of two other guitarists, drummer Loïc Maurin and Antoine Gaillet, then on bass, future sound engineer of the singer's albums, the group released in 2002 its album Figurines,in French. However, not being able to release a second album due to lack of agreement with their label, the band disbanded in 2005.4. At the same time, Arman Méliès developed a solo project. An EP was released in 2003, followed by a debut album the following year, Néons Blancs & Asphaltine5, then four more albums. Arman Méliès recorded almost all the instruments on the first albums. In 2013,his title Mon plus bel incendie,unveiled on April 11 on the YouTubevideo platform, challenged the media for the realization of the clip turned around an idea; to be the best you have to kill your competitors, including Benjamin Biolay, Dominique A, Élodie Frégé or Julien Doré for the best known artists present. He signed numerous collaborations with Alain Bashung,Julien Doré, as well as Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine.
