Ford (Akhtya Nachttoter) in Indianapolis, Indiana after the end of his previous band, Sorath. Black Funeral is one of the earliest black metal bands from America, alongside groups such as VON, Profanatica, and Demoncy. Musically, Black Funeral is a mix of black metal, dark ambient, and industrial music. After making several demo and album releases through the 90s (including their most highly regarded works
