There are several artists who have performed under the name Ivy. 1. Ivy was a soul group from Akron, Ohio, active during the 1980s. Formerly known as Rumple-Stilts-Skin, the group’s principal creative figures were brothers Sam and Chris McCants, who were also associated with Chicago Gangsters. Members included Chris McCants, Christopher Arthur, David Miller, Sam McCants, and Sharon Jones. The group released the albums "Hold Me" (1984), "Ivy II" (1986), and "Ivy III" (1987).
