Marjorie Snyder Hegeman began her career singing folk music in California's San Francisco Bay area in the late 1960s and early 1970s recording her debut A TIME OF PEACE for the Discovery label in 1970 at the tender age of 17. LET THE SON SHINE (1971), a 1972 collaboration with a band called BROTHERS (Brothers with Marj Snyder), MY LIFETIME NOW (1972) and CONTENT IN YOU (1974) would follow. She continues to sing sporadically while holding down a day job as a music teacher.
