Potatoi

Potatoi, also known as John Cha , was born on December 8th 1997, and is K-Indie artist, bassist of wave to earth ( 웨이브투어스). While his birth name is Cha Soonjong (차순종) he used to live in Kenya for 7 years as a child and got the name ‘John’. John debuted on December 4th 2017 his single 'Why Not?'. He joined wave to earth on January 2020 EP alongside with the release of “wave 0.01”. He made his solo debut under the name "Potatoi" in 2023 with the single 'Popsicle', and went on to release his first EP in 2024.
