Words On Music
Words On Music is an independent record label founded in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1998. We are home to artists that create timeless post-punk, dream pop, chamber pop, noise pop, and post-rock. Words On Music is also a publishing company (ASCAP) that has placed its artist's music in film, primetime, and cable television programs. Words On Music is owned and operated by the brothers Ostermeier - lifelong music enthusiasts and fellow musicians. Eric - the younger - is also a political scientist and blogger. Marc is a professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
