Originally run as a one-person DIY hardcore label by . After the first fourteen releases, he put out flyers looking for collaborators and the label morphed into a collective. The Mountain C.I.A. is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art made for community and not commodity, motivated by passion and not profit. Our philosophy is rooted in the ideals of Do-It-Yourself (DIY) punk rock production, which we have made "official" by aquiring non-profit status.
