US jazz record label founded by producer and record executive Joe Fields in 1972, and run along side of ; also appears as Muse only. Label Code: LC 4441 / LC 04441 Muse was marketed as having 'The Contemporary Sound'. The label acquired many of the artists signed to , with whom Fields had a prior working relationship. In 1993, they acquired Landmark Records (3). In 1996, Muse was sold to 32 Records. In October 2003, Savoy Jazz acquired the rights to its catalog (along with that of Landmark) from 32 Records.
