Vicor Music Corporation

A major Philippines-based record company dubbed as "The Home of Original Pilipino Music", established in 1965 by Vic Del Rosario and Orly Ilacad. The label set out to produce and manufacture recordings featuring Filipino musical talent. In 1990, Vicor Music Corp. underwent new management under the helm of John Tan, and thereafter was endorsed to Steven Tan as its president in 2004. Vicor kept moving forward throughout the new millennium, though far from its glory days. It was this time when it pioneered Minus-one vinyl B-sides and Videoke VCDs versions of the label's songs. Among its notable talents during that time is Ice Seguerra, known for his hit song "Pagdating ng Panahon". In 2008, Viva acquired Vicor. It is currently under Viva Music Group.
