Pinecone Moonshine
USA Run by Nic TVG, Pinecone Moonshine is a growing collection of Drum Funk (a style of Drum and Bass) and abstract music highlighting the label's specific tone. Majority of the tracks are melancholy collages of noise, heavily processed samples, and atmospherics driven by broken break beats and heavy sub. Releases sometimes show very strong free jazz and minimal techno influences. Originally planned as a digital only label, Pinecone Moonshine started releasing limited edition vinyl releases near the end of 2009.
