Platipus Music was founded at the end of 2011 and continues where Porcupine Records (2) left off, shortly after Platipus Records Ltd. ceased trading in 2010. The new imprint is making available all the solo and collaborative productions by label founder Simon Berry, such as Union Jack and Art Of Trance, and will eventually include most of the original classic Platipus Records artist singles and albums.
