Before 1990 the name of the company was CBS and in 1991 it closed long term deals with several Belgian independents, like ARS/Byte and Crammed Discs. Succeeded by Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Belgium) NV/SA from 2004-2008, and Sony Music Entertainment Belgium NV/SA from 2009 onwards.
