Independent, UK label specialising in "jazzbreakshiphopsoulfunkbeatsounds". Founded in 1999 by Robert Luis (A&R) & Paul Jonas (2) (Label Manager), Tru Thoughts is a Brighton based record label founded on the success of their highly respected Brighton club nights including the legendary phonic:hoop. Originally run from under Rob’s stairs they have now found some (slightly) nicer office space and celebrated their 10th birthday in 2009. Catalogue Number Notes: TRU 027 - Not released.
