Warner Strategic Marketing
Warner Strategic Marketing is responsible for the development and promotion of Warner's back catalogue including reissues, remasters, special editions, tracks never previously released, rarities and collectors' editions. See also WSM when a different logo is used. In 2006 this responsibility was passed to in an effort to improve Warner's flagging market share of the back catalogue and compilation market. From this point Warner Strategic Marketing handled distribution and the promotion Rhino Records' releases. (Issues may carry Label Code: LC 03708 or LC 02828).
